Session 10: The Changing of the Guard (Acts 4:1-22)

The incumbent leaders of Israel, the Sanhedrin, did not appreciate what the apostles were doing. "By what authority do you teach? Who do you think you are? We are the leaders of Israel." Who were the apostles? They were the official representatives of Israel's King, the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth. It's time for the passing of the torch of leadership of God's people from builders who rejected the cornerstone to the witnesses of the resurrection and ascension of the Messiah.
